OpenSymmetry Recognized as a Best Place to Work in Austin, TX

This summer, OS employees sported baseball caps, ate jelly beans, and wore smiles around the office as we celebrated the people of the organization for making OS one of the Best Places to Work 2017, as recognized by Inc. As one of two Austin businesses to be awarded this title, OpenSymmetry sent every employee a “party in a box” complete with confetti, baseball cap, and jelly beans to recognize that it’s the people who make all the difference in our organization.

hatsoff3From the sampling of responses from employees, one OSer quotes, “People honestly love working here and are willing to help each other out, encourage one another to do their best, and embrace each person’s quirks and strengths. It’s a strengths-based organization, and these strengths are celebrated as a team. All the other perks – dogs in the office, free snacks, awesome coffee, in-office yoga, discounted gym memberships, beautiful view, sweet office space – are side benefits in comparison to just being able to work with awesome, genuine people.”

Another reads, “I took the job with OpenSymmetry because I believed in what they do, I could see integrity was a priority, and the culture was more than something that is just talked about. After being with the company for an extended period of time, I have found all of those things to be true. This is by far my favorite place I’ve ever worked.”
